Chopda: On 26th February 2022, PVM English Medium School celebrated Marathi Language Day at school with great enthusiasm.
Various programmes were conducted in school to emphasize Marathi language under the instruction of principal Rajeesh B and vice principal Nikhila Rajeesh.
The programme started with teachers paying tribute to the famous Marathi poet Vishnu Vaman Shirwadkar whose birth anniversary is celebrated as Marathi Language Day every year on February 27.
Marathi teacher Kavitha Sonawane gave speech and recited Marathi poem for students. The famous Marathi poem 'Labhale Amhas Bhagya Bolto Marathi' was presented by 5th class students.Rehanshi Chaudhari of 2nd class also recited a poem.
On this occasion, Chetna Badgujar, Nisha Rawatale and Kavita Sonawane who taught Marathi subject in the school were honoured.
The school also conducted many activities such as poem recitation, quotation reading and use of punctuation marks to show the richness and abundance of Marathi language.
